The Lago Lindo Community Centre has a great hall space that is available for event rentals. It is the perfect place for birthdays, showers, retirements, meetings, memorials and other social functions. It features:

Can I “hold” a date?
No, dates are only reserved when you have signed a contract and paid the full amount of the rental. First come, first served
How much is the damage/cleaning deposit and when will it be returned?
The damage/cleaning deposit is $500 and is due before your rental commences. If the hall is free of damage and has been cleaned to standards, the deposit will be returned most times the day of or the day after rental, some instances may take up to 30 days. If paid by debit a cheque is issued within 30 days.
Fees are assessed for damage and if premises are not cleaned to standard as per contract
Do I need a liquor license?
Yes, if you have alcohol at your event, you must have a liquor license that is posted where the alcohol is being served. Please visit the AGLC website for more info or to apply
Do I need insurance for my event?
Yes, the renter shall maintain third-party liability insurance against claims for death, personal injury and property damage on the premises, in an amount no less that $2,000,000 (2 million). The police should name the community league as an additional insured. Policies shall be in a form and with an insurer acceptable to the community league. The community league hall will not be available until a valid Certificate of Insurance is received
The renter will ensure that all third-party contractors and/or service providers (caterers, inflatables, etc.) also provide proof of coverage to the same requirement of the renter
The renter will submit a paper copy of their insurance before rental commences
Can you cater my event?
No. you may hire a caterer of your choice or prepare food yourself
Do you supply pots, pans, dishes, glasses, silverware, cooking utensils, etc.?
No, we do not supply, you will have to bring your own
Are there cleaning supplies provided or do you offer a cleaning service?
We will supply what is needed to clean the hall. You are required to clean as no cleaning service is provided
Can I have access to the hall the day before my event to set up and decorate?
No, all set up and clean up must be done within the rental time as per contract
