About Lago Lindo
Lago Lindo is a community league located in north Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The name Lago Lindo is Spanish for "pretty lake", and the community contains two lakes named after communities in Spain. The community league was founded in 1984 and has grown over the years to include the residential communities of Lago Lindo, Klarvatten, Schonsee, and Crystallina Nera.
Lago Lindo has a strong mix of both new and older families, and because it's still a growing community, it has a very strong volunteer base. Lago Lindo is best known for it's amazing soccer program, but it has also has a strong history of producing amazing athletes in across all of its sports programs, like Olympic Gold Medal Winner Shannon Szabados, who played goalie for Team Canada in both the 2010 and 2014 Winter Olympics.
The community league has a number of amazing programs, and facilities including:
