Lago Lindo Community League, like most other “not for profit” groups, associations, and organizations, needs to raise funds from time to time to supplement our annual grants and registration fees, so we can continue to offer social and sports programs to our members at reasonable costs.
The last few years have seen the Community League use bingos, casinos and our family night activities at West Edmonton Mall to raise needed funds.
It takes many great and giving volunteers to make any fundraising event a success and on behalf of everyone who benefits from the work of those volunteers………….THANK YOU!
Like all volunteer staffed events, we have on occasion experienced an increasing difficulty getting people to step forward and help, and in some cases to honour the volunteer commitments they have made.
Please remember that your assistance and involvement directly benefits our Community, our children, and our programs. These programs and events can not, and do not run themselves. Without fulfilment of your volunteer commitments, programs sponsored by the Community League will become a lot more expensive, or in some cases might be dropped, and no longer offered. This can and will affect, and limit the programs we are able to offer our children and all community members.

CASINO:The Lago Lindo Casino held January 23rd & 24th, 2010 was another successful event. Sincere thanks to all the Community League volunteers who made this event the success it was. The revenue generated from our casinos and bingos assist our Community League in offering programs at a reasonable cost to our members. Thank you to all participants, your commitment and dedication to your Community is appreciated and applauded. Lago Lindo’s next casino is slated for the 4th quarter of 2011.
